Body Speech, Portrait of Louise Lecavalier,
2014
Stereoscopic documentary short
In her rehearsal studio, where everything is possible, Louise Lecavalier dances, resolutely.
With the steps of an explorer, she crosses her space staked out with the images of the past. She moves forward, framed by glimpses of her famous performances, each of which bears witness to a facet of her immense talent.

To listen to her voice, her body speech, is to measure the journey of an artist who simply hasn’t stopped in thirty years, tireless, always in motion, modest and masterful.
