The Augustines, in their own words,
2015
6 Documentary shorts
A dozen elderly nuns confide. The last of their generation of builders, they are the proud heirs to a long history of 384 years of caregiving.
To mark the inauguration of the museum that features the contribution of the congregation of Augustinian nuns to the history of medicine in Quebec, we collected the testimonies of the last of these extraordinary women. Their stories were recorded with intimacy, humor, generosity and are marked by a strong wish to transmit.
