Les choses dernières,
1994
Medium length documentary
A woman emerges from the night, appearing out of a hidden territory.
Her gestures scan the landscape. She wanders in the disintegrating world of a city of the apocalypse. In this "land of last things", drained of meaning, she attempts to survive.

Freely inspired by a novel by Paul Auster, this striking work was created in 1994. The hypnotic beauty of Lucie Grégoire's dance is accompanied by the music of Robert M. Lepage and lighting by Alain Lortie. Both embrace the choreography, enveloping the stage in a cinematic atmosphere, imbued with a sensuality that is both veiled and acutely heightened.
